15 years post the successful strike one, director Hari and the versatile Chiyaan Vikram team up yet again for ‘Saamy Square’. The cop-entertainer still is one of the biggest hits made during that period and is an effort to bring back the memorable ‘Aarusaamy’ hailing from Tirunelveli on-screen! Tweaked a little, Vikram plays dual roles as father and son in the sequel. Aishwarya Rajesh reprises the role of Trisha while Keerthy Suresh plays the younger cop’s love interest. Bobby Simha is the baddie in this entertainer which is a Devi Sri Prasad aka DSP musical.

The album comprises of 5 songs , which has an introductory dance number ‘Darnakka’ , a peppy folk number ‘Molagapodiye’ , the melodious ‘Adhiroobaney’ and the sentimental ‘Amma Amma’ sung by Karthik.
